Finding America 2010

Today was a great day! We had a lazy morning until we went to the hotel pool and my mom went to the very well put together gym. Annie and I played in the pool and my dad read the newspaper. After that we got dressed and went to Google for lunch. It was only two blocks away from the Trump so it wasn’t a far walk. We had a delicious lunch and had a talk with my dad’s friend. Then, we went to the huge silver bean! It was totally over perspective! (larger than we thought). We met my mom’s college roommate Mary Stimming and her family and went to a very cold but refreshing waterway in Millennium Park. Next, we went to The Art Institute. The museum was beautiful and had wonderful artwork. My favorite art piece was the self-portrait of Van-Gogh. We then went to the spitting fountain which was so much fun! We were soaking wet but mom, Annie and I still went shopping and went looking at the stores on Michigan Ave. Our family then went to dinner with Topher, who is Uncle Matt’s brother, and Marilee his wife. We had a great time. Today was a terrific day!!!
