So here is an overview of yesterday, 7/8:
First off, we woke up to go to the Greenfield Village part of the Henry Ford complex. We took a train ride around the whole perimeter of the village which was fun. Then we got to step into some houses either restored or exact replicas of homes of famous people such as Henry Ford and Thomas Edison. We also did many other cool things in the village like making candles and riding a Model T! After stopping there, we headed of f to Zingerman’s Delicatessen in Ann Arbor for lunch. If you haven’t been to Zingerman’s and you’re in the area this is an absolute MUST DO! A crazy eclectic place but cute and cool deli with great food this is officially dubbed my favorite place to eat ever! Soon it began to rainy so we quickly scurried of to the car for the next couple of stops on the itinerary: University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Battle Creek (to see the Kellogg’s Factory), and Kalamazoo (just to say we’ve been there). Then we drove through Indiana to see Notre Dame College. We hung out there for a while (I bought a shirt and smiled for a ton of pictures). By now night, we drove to 3 Floyd’s Brewery a crazy weird place but it did have delicious pizza and beer (although I didn’t taste any!). Finally we got to Chicago to see our cool hotel room which has a TV in the bathroom!!! Annie
