Rodeo

We had fun experiencing our first rodeo. We were surprised when they invited all kids under 12 to take part in a "cash challenge" - in which dozens of youngsters went into the ring and the object was to grab a ribbon off the tail of one of three calves which were to be let loose. All of this occurred quickly (before Chris could realize that her kids were going to be running around a manure filled infield with three rampaging bovines). Sure enough - it was pure madness and a lawsuit waiting to happen. I was proud to hear my girls say they ran around but had no intention of getting close to one of the cows. :)
